Scouting Reports- TE Lance Kendricks Wisconsin Doesn't have great bulk but has enough size. Is really athletic and can make the difficult catch. Shows good body control and flexibility. Is a weapon in the pass game. Doesn't have elite speed but has decent speed. Makes up for his lack of speed by running good routes and being quick in and out of routes. Creates good separation and catches a bunch of passes. Is the best TE in the draft at creating separation. Will drop a ball from time to time due to lack of concentration. Gets good yards after the catch. Lacks some bulk but is a decent blocker. Is physical and gives good effort to keep defender blocked. One of the most complete TEs in the draft. Could make a team really happy in the third to fourth round area. London Landry South Dakota Undersized TE who has good speed. Was underutilized at South Dakota, often staying in and helping with pass protection on passing plays. Flashes good athletic ability and decent hands. Gives good effort blocking but is too small to be effective. Developmental HB type. Jeff Lindsay Purdue Backup to Kyle Adams. He is a little undersized but has some athletic ability. Runs well. Didn't see a lot of passes in his career. Was arrested with public intoxication in 2007. Not real likely to get an opportunity. Jonathan Massey Southern Miss Wide body who is basically a blocker. Despite his size he is not a good blocker and will do a lot of chop blocking. When not chop blocking he is pretty high in his blocks and isn't as productive as he should be. Really lacks speed and doesn't get many looks in the passing game. Mike McNeil Nebraska Undersized for TE. Played this past season split wide as a WR. Lacks the speed and quickness for WR but it is more than adequate for TE. Catches the ball well with his hands but will go through times were he will struggle to catch the ball. Has good speed for TE. Good understanding of running routes and finding the holes in the zone. Struggles on the line because he lacks bulk and strength. Gives decent effort blocking but isn't very good at it. Likely will struggle to get off line of scrimmage against LBs on the line. Will have to be used as a move HB but should really help a team's passing attack. Jonny Moore UTEP Is not overly big or athletic. Lacks speed and isn't very shifty. Catches the ball alright but doesn't get much after the catch. Gives effort blocking but isn't a dominant blocker. Is pretty average to below average in all facets of the game. Ifeanyi Morrah Boston College Tall WR who isn't athletic or fast enough to stay outside. Physical player who was a decent blocker from the WR position. Is a difficult projection. Players his height often struggle at blocking and he doesn't have a lot of experience. May have the temperament. Has practiced some at DE. Really wasn't targeted much as a receiver. Might be too much of a project considering there aren't elite skills to work with. Schuylar Oordt Northern Iowa Tall player who has good athletic ability. Has good speed and can create some separation. Has long arms and is a tall target. Covers a lot of ground with his long strides. They lined him up all over the place but typically liked to line him up in the slot. Reminds me some of Chase Coffman. Doesn't shy away from blocking but he isn't real good at it because he has really poor technique and lacks bulk. Does too much body catching. Will be making a big jump in competition but has some good intriguing physical skills and figures to be a good developmental prospect. Eric Peitz Colorado St Has good size. Mostly used as a blocker and is a pretty solid one. They liked to keep him in and block on passing situations so he didn't get a lot of opportunities. Has decent straight line speed. Is a little stiff but not too bad. Is a little inconsistent catching the football. Doesn't figure to get drafted but could get a look as a blocking TE. Zach Pianalto North Carolina Has good size. Doesn't have elite speed but has decent speed. Has good hands and can be effective on mid to short range passes. Gives good effort blocking and is a fairly good positional blocker. Was having a really good season when he fractured his fibula. He is really injury prone. He fractured his other fibula, has foot injuries, ankle injuries and concussions. With the durability concern he will probably go undrafted but he is bound to get an opportunity and if he could pick up where this past season ended, he could work his way onto the roster as a backup. Max Purcell Florida A&M Small school guy who plays hard. Catches the ball well but really lacks speed. Doesn't get a ton of passes his way. Is not afraid to be physical and gives good effort blocking but is really inconsistent. Doesn't really have an elite skill and isn't much of a prospect.
